Cell wall portal is a term used often in this wiki to indicate the passage through the cell wall or dome (if not disabled by a red beam) to the diametrically opposite point of the Cell. Exiting at point A means entering at diametrically opposite point B. The center of symmetry is the Tree of each Cell at ground level. If point A is 10 feet above the ground, point B will be 10 feet below ground. But portals (i.e. ways through) exist only where passage finds a path at the opposite end. The term portal however is not used in any document or speech found in the game.
Usage in documents found[]
- The term cell wall is used as synonymous of dome by Caroline Farley in her journal.[1]
- The term dome is used by C.W. in his Lockdown List,[2] and in his Bleeder description.[3]
- The term cell wall is also used by C.W. in his Mofang Solid Volume Projector notes.[4]
- Mayor Janssen, in his request to C.W. for installing Imagers uses the term Membrane which C.W. seems to be unsure of what exactly the Mayor means, as for C.W. membrane is all of the inner surface of the dome.[5]
