Entryway is a location in Maray. When the player first arrives in this Cell, the only path available leads to a closed door. As soon as a way to open it is found, the player goes through the Entryway. Doing so, the playback of a recorded message by Caroline Farley is triggered by proximity. A map of the cell is also posted there. The instructions given, however, as well as the paths of the map, seem obsolete, as things have changed during the final stage of the Mofang War. Bridges and passage through wall portals have been disabled and one has to take a very long way round Maray to get to what was supposed to be the sign-in area where Farley ushers the newcomers. Still, even as one passes through this Entryway, a new application of Villein technology is seen: a stretch screen, similar to the one of the railcart, but used to play recorded messages, as well as for live communication.
