The Lockdown is one of the final events of the Mofang War. It happened shortly before the player arrives in Hunrath. The only known occurence between the two, is that around 11 or 12 days after the Lockdown, C.W. wrote the Community Center letter and retreated to his vault.
The Lockdown List is a document found in C.W.'s workshop describing the tasks that he had to take care of while the inhabitants of Hunrath went to take shelter (to get podded or chambered) in the Silo of Maray. However, beyond these tasks, more lockdown activity had been going on in Hunrath, as most of the doors and windows of the downtown houses had been nailed shut, before their inhabitant left.
Also from the Gauntlet letter it follows that one of the humans, Oleg, had to reset all the locks in the Gauntlet in Maray before being podded. So although the lockdown refers to the closing down of Hunrath, part of the same plan was to lock or disable several other passages, in Maray and Kaptar, as part of the defensive measures to slow down a possible Mofang invasion.
