- Most humans lived in Downtown Hunrath, and most food was provided by the Garden. While I agree that neither seems to be big enough to support the human population, I attribute it mostly to "creative license", or perhaps the decision to add so many humans to the Silo was made after Downtown Hunrath and the Garden were mostly finished.
