you may want to check the files in <steam obduction folder>\Obduction\Content\Localization\en
all the text and audio subtitle can be found inside,
but pictures are located in another folder <steam obduction folder>\Obduction\Content\Localization\Global
though the picture scaling might be weird and require fixing
oh, should Category Audio recordings and Speeches grouped together? I don't think it is necessary to separate them.

PROJECTS AND THINGS TO BE DONE:
Hey guys, here's a list of everything we have to do. I got several suggestions from a friend and I discussed some of these in the Gamepedia Slack chat for members of this wiki. I'll mark in bold what should be prioritized. Here we go.
- FINISH THE WALKTHROUGH
- This includes adding step-by-step pictures to the rest of the walkthrough, a significant effort. We should finish and clean up the walkthrough before this.
- Cleaning up the walkthrough should also be a priority- Fixing incorrect/inaccurate terms, adding links, rewriting the whole thing to be more clear, more specific, and easier to walk through.
- REFERENCES! References help to make sure we have accurate information and help us keep track of where information comes from.
- EXPAND ALL ARTICLES. A lot of them are short. Check the stub category for some that have been seen.
- We can use the Obduction: Exploration Guide to help us with this, and the documents. Do not just copy/paste! Rewrite it in better and more organized wording to fit the article. Paraphrase.
- We should extrapolate as much as we can, but have definite statements.
- Find and put in all the Backer Reward Items in this page (create when ready): Backer Reward Items
- We should also find something to put in the Items page/category... It is empty atm. Maybe we should get rid of it and just have the Backer Reward Items as a solo article?
- There are some complaints on the steam store page about the backer items being distracting to the puzzles, thinking they may be useful but aren't. include this in the page.
- Put a picture in every article that has a picture that is representative of that article.
- Finish creating all pages. There are still some document pages missing (some are uploaded as pictures but have no page) and a lot of locations (in all the worlds- not just Hunrath) See below for a list.
- Make more categories if possible
- In existing and new categories: Include some info in the category page itself about what the category contains.
- Make the pages prettier-
- This includes adding more infobox templates like the Template:CharacterBox, hopefully for every page that can use one. Infoboxes are for documenting specific things, used mostly in profiles.
- Also, add more sections to make the pages more organized. For instance, in the case of many images for one page, choose one main image for the top right and have a gallery section with a gallery at the bottom. Trivia sections would also be great for less important information.
- For headings, keep in mind: Headers in a wiki are intended as boundaries for that section of the article. An overly inclusive title deceives the reader into thinking there's more than there is, an overly precise one leads them to believe that certain information isn't there before even looking at the body
- We need to stop just copy/pasting document quotes onto other pages. We should be paraphrasing and extrapolating details, and improving the wording.
- Removed the mentions of the red/green bars in Obduction: Exploration Guide. Can't see them on the wiki.
- Need to advert the wiki more. This is up to [SandovalCurse] on the subreddit, but [TheFloydMan] posted on other Cyan related forums about the wiki.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- Check out the Runescape Wiki for exemplary pages setting a guideline to follow in new pages and edits.
- DON'T FORGET REFERENCES AND CITATIONS! Also helps avoid copyright (if not original work). If you quote or use info from a document or the exploration guide, cite it. Info from a recording? Cite it.
- If a page has references, make a section (References) above the citations. Makes it look better.
- PROOFREAD AFTER YOU WRITE!Can't stress this enough. Please see this guide tinyurl.com/PrfReadPDF for help.
- We need to stop just copy/pasting document quotes onto other pages. We should be paraphrasing and extrapolating details(within reason), and improving the wording. The Hunrath residents weren't the best at writing. :P
- Don't use the word "Thus." Got a complaint. It was used badly anyway. You can search for it and see what pages it is one, try to edit it out.
PAGES THAT NEED TO BE MADE (OR EDITED):
- Soundtrack! Separate pages for each song. Infobox (need to make) with the song playable in it, with Location, Duration, Composer. The page outside of the infobox should be general info and location played. See [1] for an example. Make a Soundtrack category.
- Fix all Josef Pieter Janssen typos. Lots of pages say Jannsen.
- Very low priority- try to fix all links to eliminate redirects. Doesn't really matter much, but I want to do it anyway.
- Character boxes on all new character pages if any more are found
- The Scrapyard
- The Trainyard
- The Gas Station
- The Sphere
- The Cemetery
- The Town
- Lake
- The Bleeder
- Move The Wall to Wall as it is a landmark and not a specific location
- Crankshaft Cavern- mentioned in the exploration guide. It's in Kaptar, not sure where. Need to follow guide to see where it is
- Gauntlet -Mentioned in a document- not sure where it is (in Maray, though). The maze, maybe? See Gauntlet Information
- Villein panel worksheet There's another version of this somewhere with less filled in. VilleinPanelWorksheet.jpg
- The room below the tree/farley's community center- need pictures and might be missing a few documents from there
- Add a link to the subreddit in the main page and the sidebar on the left under Portals. Remind Sandoval about this.
- Obduction needs to be remade. Make it less of an infomercial and more like a wiki page. More factual. No need to make an advertisement there...
- The Heart. That's what all the trees are connected to. Maybe a picture of the room with all the stars below the trees?
- I don't know if this deserves its own page. The root room is clearly different for each tree, as the water has to be filled at each location. --TheFloydman (talk) 03:03, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
